Season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives chronicles Taylor Frankie Paul’s final weeks before she leaves to film The Bachelorette — including her getting caught in bed with ex Dakota Mortensen.
Hulu released the official trailer on Wednesday, February 18, which teases Taylor trying to make Dakota jealous with several men — including Harry Jowsey.
“It’s been a year since I broke up with Dakota,” she tells the cameras. “It is time for me to do whatever I want to do — with whoever I want to do.”
Dakota doesn’t seem too affected by Taylor moving on, claiming, “Taylor does things to see if she can have control over me.” The former couple are later caught in bed together after seemingly hooking up.

In another scene from the sneak peek, Jessi Ngatikaura asks if Taylor will be a “pregnant Bachelorette.” While it remains to be seen whether Taylor actually had a pregnancy scare, her off-and-on romance with Dakota has been front and center since The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered on Hulu in September 2024.
The pair, who share 22-month-old son Ever, appeared to officially call it quits during season 3, which aired in November 2025, after Dakota sexted Taylor’s family friend. (Taylor also ended the season on a date with former swinging partner Chase McWhorter, who was previously married to fellow MomTok member Miranda McWhorter.)
Hulu“I know a lot of people from a viewer point of view [don’t understand that] having everything aired out to the world is a lot different than just going to a person you care about or your family and telling them something,” Dakota explained on an episode of “The Viall Files” in June 2025. “Like, you want to talk about fear, that’s the scariest feeling in the world.”
Dakota blamed reality TV for how it caused his relationship with Taylor to play out.
“Then doing it with a show, you don’t have any control over it. If they’re missing something, it’s like that’s not how it was. That to me was really hard to grasp,” he recalled. “That was hard to understand. I was like, ‘I don’t want to be torched to the world for it. I just want to have a moment with you where I can talk to you. I want a safe place to talk.’ But that’s not the case.”
Taylor, for her part, previously told Us Weekly that she was determined to get engaged on The Bachelorette after parting ways with Dakota.

“As my mom likes to say, I do fall in love quickly, and that’s also the reason I did it,” she said in September 2025. “I always call myself a lover girl because I, like, fall for people and I have done that in the past. Obviously, I got married young, and the first guy I dated was my second baby daddy — so it was just very quick, and this time, it’s going to be really cool because … I’m about to date, you know, 20 [or] 30 guys, and I’ve never done that before. I’m going to take my time, I’m going to kind of, like, get to know people. Maybe I learned things I didn’t like or do like that I didn’t even know. So I think this is gonna be really good for the long-term effect.”
Taylor, who also shares two kids with ex-husband Tate Paul, opened up about saying yes to the opportunity, adding, “What I’m most looking forward to is meeting a handful of people that are outside my bubble. I’m just excited to get to know different perspectives and new parts about myself, too.”
After dating over 30 contestants, Taylor wrapped her season of The Bachelorette in December 2025.
“[I] never experienced anything like this,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Can’t wait to talk all about it, share it, show it. Such a passion for what goes into something like this. Feeling so grateful to be part of the Bachelor Nation family and crew. … This will be worth the wait, stay tuned coming in March.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives returns to Hulu on Thursday, March 12. The Bachelorette premieres on ABC Sunday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET.
