Anna Duggar Makes Rare Social Media Appearance After Husband Josh's Arrest

19 Kids and Counting alum Anna Duggar has returned to social media five years after husband Josh Duggar’s arrest for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material.

Anna, 37, made a rare appearance in a video on her Golden Grove Pups account, which she uses to promote her business of breeding English Cream AKC Golden Retrievers.

“Hey there! We are just waiting for our vet appointment, and I thought I would introduce you to some of our guys,” Anna said in the Tuesday, February 17, video, which showed her holding three puppies while sitting in a car. “They’re just sweet little guys. One thing about English Creams is that they seem to be a much milder breed.”

Many of Anna and Josh’s seven children — Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella and Madyson — have also made appearances on the account. In one recent video, daughter Meredith, 10, sat on a bed as she introduced three puppies named after Frozen characters.

Another video from January showed daughter Madyson, 4, cradling a puppy in her arms.

Anna’s post comes just under five years after Josh’s April 2021 arrest on charges of receiving and possessing CSAM. He was found guilty in December 2021 and sentenced to more than 12 years in prison in May 2022. Josh, 37, is currently serving out his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute Seagoville in Texas.

Us Weekly confirmed in March 2023 that Josh’s prison release date was extended by nearly two months. He is expected to be released in October 2032.

In October 2023, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit terminated Josh’s request to appeal his conviction. The Supreme Court also rejected an appeal in June 2024.

Josh’s wife, who supported the disgraced TLC personality throughout his trial, has kept a low profile since he received his sentence. She was seen at an event in Arkansas for the first time in years in August 2024.

Anna was also seen attending a community event in Arkansas in December 2024. She sported a gray blazer over a black T-shirt and jeans, ditching the Duggar family’s traditional clothing rule.

Later, in November 2025, Anna appeared alongside her sisters in a photo shared by Hilltop Nutrition. The mom of seven debuted blonde hair as she and her sisters posed with smoothies in hand.

Anna has continued to raise her and Josh’s kids on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s family compound in Arkansas as she awaits the end of Josh’s sentence. She has reportedly visited Josh in prison on more than one occasion and brought their kids along.

Ahead of Josh’s sentencing in 2022, Anna wrote a letter to the judge overseeing Josh’s trial.

“My children and I rely on Joshua for financial, emotional, and physical support. Many others depend on Joshua, too,” she wrote. “Joshua sees the best in people and is willing to walk alongside them to help make their dreams a reality.”

Anna added that Josh was a “kind, loving, supportive, and caring father and husband,” and asked the judge to “consider reuniting us as a family again soon.”
